KB3D Nexus - Urinal (Modular Gasmask system)

 Developed in the KB3D lab, the Nexus is The Modular Gas Mask System. Built around a universal interface—dubbed The Insert—each module screws securely into the mask's insert, allowing the function to be changed as required.

The Nexus: Urinal module transforms the front of the mask your personal urinal. Designed to capture and funnel liquids directly to where it belongs. 

There are two ports, one on either side, which are connected to vents on the inside of the urinal. This ensures any scent can be captured as well.

Important bits:

•  This module is only being provided in black at the moment. However custom colours can be added. Please speak directly with me.
• This module is currently only available for the S10, FMJ-08 and the FMJ-05. FM12 will come later.
• This module has not been post processed. Due to the nature of 3D printing, this item has many layer lines with micro gaps. Leaving this submerged/contact with liquid for long periods the liquid may start separating layers. However should be fine for short bursts (like urinating). However when cleaning, ensure you thoroughly dry between each use. To post process this, seal in the gaps and prolong the lifespan we recommend sealing the unit in a resin (ensure you don't get any resin on any ports, vents or screw threads. However I would seal the inside of the urinal bowl. Art resin is recommended as its FDA approved food safe once cured.
